Broncos Buckhalter could start

Could the Denver Broncos RB Correll Buckhalter be the starting tailback for the Broncos this season? It appears that’s a possibility. Buckhalter was carted off the practice field earlier in the week but was cleared to return after being given all clear by doctors. Mike Klis of the Denver Post reports that there is a possibility that Buckhalter could be the starting tailback. I think that it’s obvious that Buckhalter’s best days are behind him and is nothing more than a situational back. If Buckhalter beats out Knowshon Moreno for the starting spot, it will say less about Buckhalter than it says against Moreno. What ever happened to the Brian Westbrook option?
