Sports Injury Alert:
Denver Broncos cornerback Champ Bailey returned to game action last week against the Colts. Bailey has been dealing with a nagging foot injury and it was his first game of the season. The Broncos were also getting Von Miller back from his suspension and Bailey and Miller were supposed to boost their defense. However, Bailey’s return was short lived, he injured his the same foot in the Colts game and was taken out of the game and did not return. The Broncos ended up losing the game 33 to 39.
The Broncos face the Washington Redskins in week 8, Bailey’s former team and Bailey is not expected to play. The foot injury that Bailey suffered Sunday night showed no new injury, but the Broncos are going to hold him out for cautionary reasons. Foot injuries can be hard to deal with and this could be an injury that bothers Bailey all season. The defense has been struggling lately after giving up 48 to Dallas and now 39 to the Colts, if they are going to make a deep playoff run they will need a...

Over the last 2 seasons, the Denver Broncos, under the leaderhip of John Elway, have used 2 high round draft picks on running backs. In 2012, they used a 3rd round pick on San Diego State speedster, Ronnie Hillman. And in 2013, they used their 2nd round pick on Wisconsin stud, Montee Ball.
In doing so, there seemed to be a subliminal message. And that message was, "We don&...

Last week: 1 (-1)
Remember when people thought the Broncos were definitely going 16-0 because they looked so dominant for the first 4 weeks. It was clear that was an unsustainable level of offense and that their defense would eventually be exposed. I’m kind of disappointed in myself for moving them up to #2. I think they’re better than the Chiefs and could easily...
