Denver Broncos defensive tackle Ty Warren had an MRI on Monday night for a triceps injury that may be serious, the Denver Post reported.
Warren suffered the injury in Monday's practice and there has been speculation that the muscle is torn, which would require surgery and likely end his season.
Warren was a 2003 first-round pick of the New England Patriots and spent his first eight seasons with the club. He sat out all of last season with a hip injury and was released by the Patriots this summer.
In his career, Warren has 373 tackles and 20.5 sacks.
