AP Photo According to Mike Klis of the Denver Post, the Miami-Dade attorney’s office didn’t agree with the assault charges that were filed against Broncos linebacker Elvis Dumervil, so they decided to not charge him with crimes associated with the road rage incident he was involved in. “The state attorney’s office decided Tuesday to not formally charge Dumervil of any wrongdoing, reported Klis. “It was a blessing that the investigators took the time to get the truth out,” Dumervil said. “I knew I didn’t do anything wrong. It was a matter of being in the wrong place at the wrong time. I’m just ready for football.” Hopefully Dumervil learned his lesson and will deal with a situation like this in a different matter next time.
