We know Eric Decker as a 6’3″, 218 pound wide receiver who caught 44 passes for 612 yards and eight touchdowns last season as a member of the Denver Broncos. Had Decker chosen another career path — baseball — many of us would have never heard of him.
While attending Minnesota, Decker played both football and baseball and was actually drafted into the MLB — twice. Decker was drafted by the Milwaukee Brewers in 2008 and the Minnesota Twins in 2009, but opted to instead pursue a career in the NFL.
Decker went on to be drafted just once in the NFL, Denver taking him 87th overall in the 2010 draft. On Sunday, Decker and quarterback Peyton Manning attended a Colorado Rockies game at Coors Field — as fans.
During batting practice before the game, Decker hit two home runs into the bullpen beyond right field, according to the Denver Post. The Rockies went on to lose to the New York Mets by a score of 6-t0-5.

Ronnie Hillman Lands in Denver
The Denver Broncos picked up running back Ronnie Hillman in the third round of the 2012 NFL Draft.
Fantasy Spin:
Hillman averaged 1,621 rushing yards over the last two seasons at San Diego State and is known as a smooth perimeter runner with an explosive burst. He projects as a good fit in Denver, with strong sleeper appeal when you consider that Knowshon Moreno is always hurt and...
Brock Osweiler Joins Manning in Denver
The Denver Broncos targeted quarterback Brock Osweiler with the No. 57 pick of the 2012 NFL Draft.
Fantasy Spin:
Osweiler is an excellent leader with the arm to eventually make all of the throws at the next level, but is raw as he was just a one-year starter at Arizona St. With that said, Osweiler falls into a great spot, as he gets the luxury of learning from a future Hall of Famer...

Draft Losers: Denver Broncos
When the Denver Broncos signed a 36-year-old future Hall of Famer to play quarterback, everyone assumed they were gearing up for a serious run at the Super Bowl. But this draft class tells a different story.
We'll be seeing a lot of this from Osweiler.
The Broncos only landed one player, Derek Wolfe, who will compete for a starting job in 2012. They also only added one offensive...

Draft Grades: Denver Broncos
By signing Peyton Manning, the Denver Broncos gave themselves a three-year window in which they can make a serious run at the Super Bowl. But their selections in this draft class raise some questions about the direction this franchise is headed.
Derek Wolfe was a reach in the early 2nd round. John Fox was clearly looking for a penetrating three-technique tackle but, while Wolfe is...

Brock Osweiler Mile High Journey
John Elway was famously quoted, or maybe infamously, that they had no plan b for the season. Were going with plan a the Denver Broncos executive said. He jokingly pledged this in response to a question on what the Broncos would do if recently signed Peyton Manning was unable to play this season.
