In a move which was not unexpected, the Denver Broncos expect to move OLB/DE Elvis Dumervil back to the defensive end position. The Denver Broncos are making a switch from a 3-4 set to a 4-3 defensive scheme in 2011. In 2009, while playing OLB, Dumervil recorded a career high 17 sacks, but he has experience playing in a 4-3 system as well. Dumervil miss this 2010 season with a torn pectoral muscle injury. In reported injury news, Jeff Legwold of the Denver Post writes this morning, that in the event of a lockout, Denver broncos players would be left on their own for rehabbing their injuries. In addition to Dumervil, two other prominent Broncos players have key injuries they are dealing with. Wide receivers Eddie Royal (hip) and Demaryius Thomas (Achilles tendon).
