Denver Post:
A day off seems to have done the Broncos good.
Wide receiver Eddie Royal, linebacker D.J. Williams and defensive tackle Brodrick Bunkley — all starters — were among the group of players who returned to practice Monday afternoon after missing at least one practice or a game because of injury.
Royal (hip) and Williams (thigh) both were held out of the preseason opener at Dallas. Bunkley missed only Sunday’s practice.
Other players back on the field Monday were linebacker Nate Irving (ankle) and wide receiver Britt Davis.
The team also announced two roster moves: defensive tackle Louis Leonard was released, while rookie linebacker Derek Domino was waived/injured. Both players had missed significant practice time in camp because of injuries.
