Pro Sports Daily:
Denver Broncos linebacker Von Miller and defensive lineman Kevin Vickerson reportedly were fined a total of $36,000 for separate hits on Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton last Sunday. Miller was fined $21,000 hitting Newton low on a roughing-the-passer penalty, the Denver Post reported Thursday. Vickerson was fined $15,000 for his horse-collar penalty while sacking Newton. Miller said he will appeal his fine. Vickerson has not said if he will appeal. "How am I supposed to know if he threw the ball or not?" Miller told the Post. "I was down on the ground -- actually the guard facemasked me and threw me into the quarterback. I'm supposed to what? Stand straight up and continue with the tackle?"

The Broncos signed Peyton Manning this offseason and didn't know what they were getting. What they got is a leading MVP candidate.
We've entered the second half of the season and talk of league MVP will start heating up.
Here is a look at my MVP candidates by position:
Payton Manning - Manning not only switched teams but came back from neck surgery...
Sounds like Broncos‘ defensive end Elvis Dumervil will be a game-time decision this weekend.
“He was limited,” Coach John Fox told the team’s official website. “I think we’ll play it day to day and I’m sure we probably won’t have a final decision until about an hour and a half before kickoff.”
Meanwhile, cornerback Tracy Porter (illness) has been ruled out and...
Below is NFL Film’s ‘SoundFx’ footage from Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning‘s performance against the Carolina Panthers last weekend:
Manning is on pace to break several of John Elway‘s franchise records with 4,808 passing yards and 36 scores through the air. The Broncos, 6-3, currently lead the AFC West and will take on the 4-5 San Diego Chargers this weekend...
Denver Broncos executive vice president of football operations John Elway told USA Today Sports that he’s uses everyone who doubts him as motivation to build a championship team.
“I’ve never wanted to disappoint anybody that’s entrusted a position on me, whether it was as a player, or the role I’m in now. That’s the challenge, and that’s what makes me tick – that...
For those who live outside of Colorado and do not have DirecTV, we present this handy-dandy broadcast map, courtesy of the506.com:

(Eds: Updates with details. With AP Photos.) By EDDIE PELLS AP National Writer It's one thing to block for a quarterback. It's quite another when that quarterback is Peyton Manning, the NFL version of a national treasure.
As soon as the Broncos signed Manning in the offseason, the stakes for the Denver offensive linemen rose considerably. For sure, nobody wants to be the...
Maybe passing a marijuana law was the right choice for Colorado, because these dudes out there need to mellow out. A self-proclaimed Denver Broncos fan, and triathlete, was recently arrested for allegedly threatening President Barack Hussein Obama. Police were informed by Mitchell Kenneth Kusick’s therapist. Like you could already expect, Kusick was upset with shooting [...]
While his season on the field has been a struggle, Panthers quarterback Cam Newton did kick-off a student initiative program with a $150,000 donation to three schools.
The NFL Pro-Bowl is still scheduled to take place after this season the week before the Super Bowl, unless Roger Goodell has anything to do with cancelling the All-Star game that features absolutely no defense and points galore. One special thing about selecting Pro-Bowl players is that it is not strictly up to the fans, so these players are not just the most popular. They are also...
Another great divisional match up for football fans features an AFC West show down in San Diego, where the (4-5) Chargers welcome Peyton Manning and the division leading (6-3) Broncos to town. The first game was an instant classic, where the Broncos came from way behind at the half to steal one at home. Manning trailed 24-0, before scoring 35 unanswered points as they stunned the...
San Diego Chargers (4-5) at Denver Broncos (6-3)
In my Power Rankings this week I joked, “Why does it feel like the Chargers are going to lose to Denver, fall to 4-6, and then go on their annual late season run, finish 8-8 or 9-7, miss the playoffs barely, and save Norv Turner’s and AJ Smith’s jobs? Oh, that’s right, that happens every year.” Well, I’m not so sure that...
