CJ Sports NFL Talk:
After watching Tim Tebow lead what some are calling ‘The Drive II’ against his twin brother’s Jets, Cowboys defensive coordinator Rob Ryan noted that Denver’s offensive schemes are sick.
And he doesn’t mean that in the good way.
Per ESPNDallas.com, Ryan said Friday that witnessing Tebow and the Broncos’ unorthodox, college-oriented style of offense on Thursday night made him lose his lunch (and possibly his dinner, too.)
“It made me, uh, throw up,” Ryan said, pausing mid-sentence to make a vomiting motion. “That stuff comes into play. You get that crap. I don’t like it because it’s college football. The things you see a lot of spread. We’re getting a lot of two tight ends blocking for empty sets.
“Who would have ever thought that? This is the NFL. Those teams don’t win.”
While Ryan has a valid point — that most teams don’t find success running the ball on nearly every down — the Broncos did come out victorious, knocking off Rex Ryan‘s squad with a 95-yard drive in the waning moments of the fourth quarter, capped off by a 20-yard Tebow scramble to paydirt.
However, Dallas’ defensive head honcho didn’t think much of the win, even going so far as mocking Tebow’s now-infamous touchdown celebration.
“That team did win last night, but it was horse—-, and thanks for pointing that out,” Ryan replied when reminded that the Broncos were victorious. “The guy made a hell of a play, though, didn’t he?
“Just a second, I’ll take a knee myself.”
Although the Cowboys and Broncos unfortunately won’t meet this season (barring improbable Super Bowl runs), Ryan would be wise to keep some ginger ale and crackers handy from now on. Tebow Mania, and the re-emergence of the triple option offense, has just begun.

Jets coach Rex Ryan had a bad night in Denver. Friday won’t get much better. The league will be disclosing at some point today the fine to be imposed on Ryan for his Sunday night New York echo while entering the tunnel at MetLife Stadium during halftime of the November 13 game against the Patriots.…
DENVER, CO -- Tim Tebow did it again. Backed up on their own five-yard line, Tebow marched down the field before scampering 20 yards for the go-ahead score with 56 seconds remaining in the game. That put the Denver Broncos up for good, 17-13, defeating the New York Jets on Thursday night.Tebow saw the Jets stack the box with nine defenders and man coverage on the edge. He rolled...
It’s official. Beating the Dolphins, the Raiders, and the Chiefs didn’t really count. Leading the Broncos from behind with a 95-yard drive against one of the best and proudest defenses in the NFL has taken Tebowmania to a new level. Tim Tebow and his Broncos, after a sluggish night through more than three quarters, put…
Tebow in actionWe don't think there has ever been a more polarizing figure in the history of the NFL then Tim Tebow. Criticism that he can't throw, experts saying he can't run a pro system, analysts saying there his mechanics are awful. But give the man this.He wins. The latest was a game winning 20-yard TD run with less than a minute to go and rallying his Denver Broncos...
Well that is about as bad as it gets.
Two embarrassing losses in primetime in the span of four days. Tonight was an absolute doozy. Football is a team game and the Jets are a bad football team at the moment. They are 5-5 and headed in the wrong direction, with no clue as to who they are. I won’t pull a Rex Ryan and declare them dead from the playoffs cause they aren’t, but any realistic pers...

IRVING It could've been the defining moment of training camp in San Antonio. During a practice at the poorly lit AlamoDome, Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones handed his cellphone to defensive coordinator Rob Ryan.
The Cowboys were attempting to land free-agent cornerback Nnamdi Asomugha, a move that likely would've ended Terence Newman's run with the organization. The...
