Peyton Manning in his first padded practice in a year and a half looked good. Manning the quarterback that sign the mega deal with the Denver Broncos this off-season is trying to get his new offensive line to learn his game time antics. There has never been a guy in football that uses the vocabulary at the line that Manning uses. The team is trying hard to make adjustments to do things the Manning way. One guy that is working extra hard is Broncos center J.D. Walton.

The way Manning does things the center has to be on the same page as him. Manning was fortunate to work with Jeff Saturday for years in Indianapolis. The two were so familiar with each other the Broncos front office tried to sign the center that snapped the ball to Peyton for more than a decade. Manning will put an offensive line through lots of tests during a football game. No one in the history of the sport has done so many things after calling the plays and before the snap. It is of the up-most importance this Denver Broncos line protects the man John Elway paid so much money to.

With Manning’s surgically repaired neck, no one in the Broncos front office wants to see their new franchise quarterback take too many hits.
