Broncos defensive lineman Ty Warren had a setback in his recovery from a torn triceps and has been placed on injured reserve, Mike Klis of The Denver Post reports. Signed to a two-year, $8 million contract when the 2011 league year began, the 30-year-old Warren was injured during practice on August 15. An MRI confirmed the muscle tear, but the Broncos hadn't placed Warren on injured reserve as they felt he could return at some point during the regular season. A 2003 first-round pick out of Texas A&M by the New England Patriots, Warren missed all of last season with a hip injury. Running back Jeremiah Johnson has been signed off the practice squad to replace Warren on the 53-man roster.
