The Denver Broncos placed starting defensive tackle Kevin Vickerson on injured reserve with an ankle injury.
The club also added fullback Quinn Johnson off waivers from Tennessee to fill the roster spot.
Vickerson, who signed a two-year deal to stay in Denver during the offseason, was injured in Sunday's loss to San Diego.
Johnson had appeared in all five of the Titans' games this season before being released Friday.
