The Denver Broncos placed defensive tackle Ty Warren on season-ending injured reserve on Saturday.
Warren underwent surgery in August to repair a torn triceps, and was questionable at best to contribute this season. The 30-year-old hit a snag in his recovery, and the Broncos made the move.
Warren was a 2003 first-round pick of the New England Patriots and spent his first eight seasons with the club. He sat out all of last season with a hip injury and was released by the Patriots this summer.
In his career, he has 373 tackles and 20.5 sacks.
