Coach John Fox announced that today, G/C Philip Blake has been placed on the IR with a thumb injury, ending his rookie season with the Broncos. The Broncos activated C.J Davis from the practice squad to the active roster, and added G/T Adam Grant to the practice squad to replace Davis.
Blake, the 108th pick in the 2012 NFL Draft, in the 4th round, will compete for a roster spot in 2013. C.J Davis who was with the Broncos throughout the offseason will take over for Blake as depth at G/C. Adam Grant, who was also with the Broncos throughout the season as well serves as depth on the Practice Squad.

Broncos had Brock Osweiler warming up on Monday night
Towards the end of Monday night’s loss to the Atlanta Falcons, the Denver Broncos told rookie quarterback Brock Osweiler to warm up. You might be wondering, why would the Broncos even think about benching Peyton Manning? Don’t worry they weren’t going to bench him.
“I was going in for the Hail Mary,” Osweiler said. “I’m not sure what the dividing line was as far as...

2012 Hottest Denver Broncos Cheerleaders
The Denver Broncos Cheerleaders have had many different names throughout the years. In 1971, the squad debuted as the Bronco Belles and became the Pony Express in 1977. However, the group disbanded in 1980 after two members posed topless in Playboy...
Peyton Manning addresses arm strength with quote popularized by Popeye (vid)
Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning said that players in Denver Broncos offense are still in the process of getting to know each other and “all continue to learn” as he discussed the substandard offensive output — at least for an offense led by him — during Sunday night’s loss to the Atlanta Falcons. Discussing a [...]
Manning: Decisions were the problem
Even while he was trying to tamp down expectations, Peyton Manning couldn't have envisioned this scene playing out.
Three times, the Broncos quarterback dropped back to pass. Three times, he threw into a seam near the numbers down the right side of the field.
Three times, a defensive back followed Manning's eyes, cut over and turned whatever small opening the quarterback...

Replacement ref gets hit during Falcons-Broncos
For those of you who hate NFL replacement refs, this might be the video for you. During tonight's Atlanta Falcons/Denver Broncos game, a mini-fight broke out after a fumble recovery and it appears that one NFL replacement ref took one of the chin. While Atlanta defensive end Ray Edwards was engaged with Broncos defensive tackle Kevin Vickerson in an altercation, Edwards takes...
Is Willis McGahee a Hall of Famer?
I was watching the Broncos at Falcons game last night and I had a few thoughts. My first thought was I can't wait for Skip Bayless to say the Broncos should have kept Tim Tebow. Among other thoughts, I wondered if Willis McGahee could end up in the Pro Football Hall of Fame.Let's examine.McGahee is 30 years old, and is playing in his ninth season in the NFL. I'm not counting...
Denver Broncos vs. Atlanta Falcons: The Hero and the Zero
Denver had a late second half rally to get with in a one possession game, but at the end of the game, the unspeakable, horrendous, first half play of the Broncos was too much for Manning and the team to overcome. As always, when the day is over we have to have a winner and a loser and yes, a hero and a zero.Let’s start with the zero today. It would be easiest to point the finger...
Steve Young on replacement officials: NFL doesn’t care, player safety doesn’t matter
Most of you are probably sick of hearing about the replacement official situation in the NFL by now, but it is only getting worse. The officiating crew lost control of Monday night’s game between the Broncos and Falcons on multiple occasions. Knowshon Moreno fumbled in the first quarter and it was ruled that the Falcons recovered, despite the fact that a Broncos player came out...
Manning falters early, Broncos lose to Falcons
Peyton Manning's second game with the Denver Broncos looked nothing like his first.
Manning threw interceptions on Denver's first three possessions, and the Broncos could not recover from the poor start in a 27-21 loss to the Atlanta Falcons on Monday night.
In a 3-hour, 27-minute game marred by questionable decisions from replacement officials and long clock stoppages...
Michael Turner Charged With DUI
Running back Michael Turner has been charged with a DUI following Monday night's win over the Denver Broncos, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Fantasy Spin:
Turner was charged with speeding at around 5 a.m. Tuesday morning, and was booked and released on $2,179 bond. He is not expected to be suspended by the NFL, but perhaps Atlanta head coach Mike Smith will punish...
Denver Broncos vs. Atlanta Falcons: Five Things We Learned
After a weekend full of exciting football matchups, I was excited to watch the Monday night game featuring the meeting of two undefeated teams, the Denver Broncos visiting the Atlanta Falcons. Ok, the league has only played one week, but Denver was impressive in beating Pittsburgh 31 to 19 at home on September 9 in the Sunday night game while Atlanta used a dominant second half in...
Peyton Manning Stinks up Georgia Dome in Monday Night Meltdown

Ronnie Hillman: Not Ready for Prime-Time
Ronnie Hillman: Hillman continues to be behind in his recovery from a hamstring issue that kept him out of two preseason games, although head coach John Fox said he’s “pleased with his development,” the Denver Post reports.
