The Denver Broncos announced today that tight end Daniel Graham was released. The nine year veteran has spent the past four seasons with the Broncos, playing in all but one game with the team.

Graham played a big role for the ’08-’09 Broncos when he had 32 catches for 389 yards and 4 touchdowns. He was in a backup role when Tony Scheffler was the starting tight end for the team.

John Elway said via Twitter today:

“We’re thankful for everything Daniel Graham did for the Broncos and the Denver community. Tough to let him go. We wish him the best.”
