The Denver Broncos on Tuesday signed linebacker Brian Iwuh and released safety Kyle McCarthy, according to Mike Klis of the Denver Post.  It is expected that McCarthy will be re-signed to the team’s practice squad. Iwuh most recently played in Chicago, filling a special teams role that he has held since he entered the league in 2006 with Jacksonville as an undrafted free agent.  A former Colorado Buffalo, Iwuh joins the Broncos as a 6-foot, 235 pound, six-year veteran with 115 career tackles and one sack. Iwuh has not yet been assigned a jersey number, and the details of his contract are not known.  Brian’s last name is pronounced as “E-woo”.
