According to Mike Klis of the Denver Post, the Broncos and left tackle Ryan Clady are continuing to work out a contract extension.

With Clady going into the final year of his current contract, the Broncos have already offered  him a new five-year contract that would pay him $50 million, with $28 million guaranteed.

Clady apparently declined the offer.  It looks like he wants to be the NFL’s highest paid tackle.

Denver Broncos vice president of football operations John Elway sat down with former Broncos linebacker and current ESPN analyst Tom Jackson to answer questions on the 2011 season with Tim Tebow and the future of the Broncos with Peyton Manning. Manning searching for timing with his new targets

Peyton Manning's arm strength looks just fine. It's his timing with his new targets that's the biggest question mark facing the four-time MVP as he embarks on his comeback with the Denver Broncos. Manning doesn't appear bothered by the nerve injury in his neck that led to a series of operations, sapped his power and sidelined the league's most durable active...

Denver Broncos Training Camp Notes from Thursday and Friday Afternoon

The Denver Broncos held their first training camp practice of the Peyton Manning era on Thursday morning and it didn't go without massive fanfare. The Broncos drew 4,372 fans, setting a record for the Broncos' Dove Valley location. The previous record set was on August 1st, 2010 when 3,103 fans came to see Tim Tebow in his rookie season. There were other tidbits of note...

Thomas prepares for more attention from defenses

Demaryius Thomas and Tim Tebow seemed like a fit made in heaven. The two first-round draft picks schooled in the option offense helped the Denver Broncos end their playoff drought last season, then connected for one of the most electrifying endings ever: an 80-yard TD toss on the first play of overtime to beat Pittsburgh in the playoffs. Their coming out party soon became a farewell...

Ronnie Hillman has a Chance to Beat Out McGahee…

While we believe that 5'10', 190 lb rookie out of San Diego State will at least start the season behind the incumbent starter Willis McGahee that opinion is not unanimous. The Broncos spent a 3rd round draft pick on Hillman and while many believe he was selected to be more of a change of pace back due to his size, Hillman has been successful running between the tackles....

Denver's defense has to hold up its end of deal

Peyton Manning can't do this all by himself. Denver's defense will have to do its part if the Broncos are going to have the special kind of season so many expect of them. Football chief John Elway swapped unconventional quarterback Tim Tebow for the only four-time MVP in NFL history, seeking to add to the two Super Bowl trophies he won during his Hall of Fame playing career...

Peyton shines in 1st padded practice

Peyton Manning's first full practice in pads in 18 months drew rave reviews from his coaches and teammates -- and at least one suggestion that his health is no longer even an issue. Manning put on an aerial show with Broncos wide receiver Eric Decker and others Saturday morning in the latest milestone to his comeback from a nerve injury that cost him all of last season and led...

Denver Broncos: Tim Tebow Undervalued

Anybody watching the NFL's coverage of the opening of training camps this week got an eyeful of Peyton Manning going through what amounted to quarterback calisthenics.    Not real exciting, but at least as interesting as regular season Major League Baseball.    Now, what might have made it more interesting than baseball is if Tim Tebow hadn't been dealt out of the...

AFC West Training Camp Questions

The start of the NFL season always brings with it the promise of a fresh beginning, but it also provides its share of questions. Here are some of the top issues facing the teams of the AFC West: Denver Broncos 1) What is the status of Peyton Manning's neck? Everyone knows Manning missed the entire 2011 season after undergoing multiple surgeries on his neck. Although...

Peyton Manning Has The Tools To Make Denver Just Like Indy

Peyton Manning knows what he likes in his offensive weapons. It’s why players like Austin Collie and Jacob Tamme were able to step right in and be big time producers. If you run the routes, and do what Peyton asks when he’s yelling gibberish at the line of scrimmage, then he’s going to get the ball to you, and more often then not – it’s going to be exactly where you need...
