The Denver Broncos have signed veteran long-snapper David Binn, the team announced on Friday. Binn, 39, handled the snapping duties for the San Diego Chargers in 256 games from 1994 through Week 1 of the 2010 season before landing on injured reserve with a hamstring injury. Binn was released by the Chargers at the end of training camp and spent the 2011 season as a free agent. Lonie Paxton, the Broncos regular long-snapper, has been ruled out of tomorrow night's game due to a family-related personal matter. To make room for Binn, rookie fullback Austin Sylvester has been placed on waivers.

Vote: Should Tim Tebow Be the Broncos' Starting Quarterback Next Season?
Tim Tebow has won games for the Denver Broncos, proving countless scouts and so-called experts wrong along the way. Once the Broncos' season ends, John Elway and the members of the Broncos front office have a heavy decision to make. Should they search for a more prototypical quarterback with a conventional throwing motion, or should they stick with Tebow, who went 7-4 in the...
Denver Broncos: Most Pressing Offseason Needs
1. Sign Tim Tebow
Love him or hate him, Tim Tebow has become the face of, not just the franchise, but the entire league. He is obviously not the prototypical quarterback, and will never be a John Elway, a Tom Brady, or a Peyton Manning. It's just nice to see a player win with heart. This city needs him.
2. Cornerback.
If it were up to me, Champ Bailey would be on my...
Bailey, Brady renew their rivalry this weekend
The last time the Broncos and Patriots met in the playoffs, Champ Bailey returned an interception 100 yards, sparking a 27-13 Denver win and handing Tom Brady his first postseason defeat after 10 wins and three titles.
Six years later, they meet again this weekend, both men a lot longer in the tooth but just as transcendent.
At 33, Bailey was just named to his 11th Pro Bowl, extending...
Trent Dilfer ranks Broncos' Tim Tebow among NFL's passers: 80th out of 80
Former NFL quarterback Trent Dilfer spoke at the Hood Hargett Breakfast Club in Charlotte Friday, and he was complimentary of Panthers quarterback Cam Newton, who he said would "change the game" in the NFL with his skills and work ethic.
He was not as kind in discussing Denver quarterback Tim Tebow, who has the Broncos...
NFL Picks for Divisional Playoffs Have Tim Tebow Keeping Things Close With Patriots, Packers Rolling Over Giants
If it weren't for the five weekdays that separate games, I could easily make the case that NFL playoff time is the very best time there. And even with the break, it's still pretty fantastic. The opening round of the playoffs reminded us of that reality, when even the blowouts were fun to watch. The Saints easily could have lost but ended up winning by 17, and the Giants trailed...

Broncos to be without WR Eric Decker and LS Lonie Paxton…
While the Patriots are getting healthy — and have been getting healthy — the Broncos are just the opposite. In fact, they just got hit in a tough spot thanks to a personal situation with one of their players.
According to the Broncos participation report, Lonie Paxton, the former Patriots fan favorite, is out for Saturday’s game. The team has said he is dealing...
Winning the One-on-One
While i prepped for the “Mile-High Match-up” in Denver and watched some tape of the Broncos offensive line, i came away with the feeling that the Denver Broncos OT Ryan Clady would not be able to block James Harrison consistently mano-y-mano in passing situations last weekend. After hanging 9 quarterback pelts on the wall in [...]
Patriots-Broncos: Champs And Chumps
Champs of the Game:
Tom Brady - Who woulda thunk it? Terrific Tom taking apart the Denver Tebow's defense was almost a foregone conclusion, but no one thought he was gonna blow up like this. 26/34, 363 yards, 6 TD's, and a 137.6 passer rating. He breaks the yards record, passing record, and he punts...all before the 4th quarter! What can this guy not do? Sit on the bench...
