Last week Ian Henson chimed in on the Jake Locker private workout. Perhaps we’ll soon hear his thoughts about Missouri quarterback Blaine Gabbert, who will also have a private workout with the Broncos, who were just recently at his pro day as well.
Many fans are quick to dismiss these workouts merely as smokescreens or strategic maneuvers like the naming of Kyle Orton as the starter, or John Elway’s neutral comments about Tim Tebow. However, Ian had a couple of valid reasons not to dismiss these efforts by the Broncos front office, one of them struck me particularly.
I can’t imagine that any of these three men want their time wasted, there is definitely at least some type of interest on the part of Denver.
