The Wolfe has joined his pack.
The newest member of Denver’s Orange Carnivore defense, rookie defensive tackle Derek Wolfe, practiced with all of his teammates for the time on Tuesday. Wolfe signed a four-year deal with the team in May, but was not allowed to participate in offseason workouts with the team until college class graduated last Thursday.
Since then, Wolfe has received his physical from the team (he’s listed as 6-5, 300 lbs.) and has already been labeled a base defensive tackle and a nickle defensive end by Defensive Coordinator Jack Del Rio. All of that aside, Wolfe was focused on his first day on the job Tuesday.
“It’s good to finally be out there with my teammates and working and getting better,” Wolfe said after practice.
When asked if he felt behind the rest of the team after missing OTAs, Wolfe replied, “Yeah, absolutely. Towards the end of practice I started to get it and caught up pretty quickly, it’ll come along.”

Fox continued, “All our guys do a great job of keeping our fans informed, and you’re going to have a couple...
According to Nate Davis of USA Today, it was clear during the Denver Broncos’ minicamp session on Tuesday, that Peyton Manning’s velocity on his deep balls isn’t what it once was.

"Don't press send!" That's the motto many sports teams have taken when talking to their players about using social media, indicating 'if you're not sure about it, don't post it.' So when Denver Broncos linebacker D.J. Williams tweeted a photo of the team's defensive playbook -- which has since been deleted -- on Tuesday, it was expected that...

For the past decade or so, television stations stopped recruiting journalists, and instead starting recruiting bikini models and cheerleaders to fill their sports sideline reporter slots. This fact is certainly not news, but it is interesting how one specific NFL cheerleading squad, the Denver Broncos, has produced three of these “journalists” all by themselves.
Acquitted of sexual assault in March, former Broncos cornerback Perrish Cox is being sued by the woman who accused him of the crime. Current Denver receiver Demaryius Thomas is also listed in the civil suit seeking unspecified damages. Cox did not testify at his trial. Because the burden of proof isn't as weighty in civil lawsuits, the 2010 incident will be brought back to...
