Stories like these just reinforce our love for the Denver Broncos and their players.
Broncos defensive tackle Mitch Unrein walked into the club’s weight room for an offseason workout with new Strength and Conditioning Coach Luke Richesson when he discovered that his routine was going to change. Unbeknownst to Unrein, Richesson was in the process of completely overhauling the team’s weight room, replacing nearly all of the old equipment with brand new machines. That reminded the second-year player of another weight room that needed to be revamped. Unrein had been planning a fundraiser to help improve the weight room at Eaton High School — his alma mater. He originally hoped to replace one piece of equipment each year, but with the timing of the Broncos’ redesign, a bigger opportunity presented itself. And just like that, Eaton High School received entirely new equipment for its weight room, which it desperately needed.
It’s a great story that deserves your time.  Kudos to Denver and Unrein for giving these young athletes equipment to strengthen their bodies. While talking with the team’s official website, Unrein also touched on the team’s new uniforms.  “My jersey fit like a glove,” Unrein said. “There is no extra material on them. It’s just boom, fits perfectly on the pads. That helps you out a lot if you’re a defensive lineman because it has that nice cut around the arms, so those offensive lineman can’t hold on to you as much.” Judging from the photos released by Nike and comments from the players on the new uniforms, it appears that the changes in apparel will be more noticeable to the players wearing them on game-day then they are to the fans watching from the stands and at home. Unrein (6-4, 291 pounds) is twenty-five years old and entering his second season in the NFL.
