The Denver Broncos have announced three roster moves a little more than 24-hours before their game in Denver versus the Oakland Raiders.
The Denver Broncos have placed second-year safety Quinton Carter on injured reserve after he hurt his surgically repaired left knee last weekend.
The Broncos promoted rookie safety Duke Ihenacho from their practice squad to take his place, and they also promoted second-year linebacker Mike Mohamed to the active roster for Sunday's game against Oakland.

The Eagles squeaked by the Giants on Sunday night, and they may have benefited from an emotional boost provided by one of the organization's all-time greats. Safety Brian Dawkins, who played 13 seasons in Philly from 1996-2008, had his No. 20 jersey retired by the Eagles on Sunday. The biggest highlight of the night's festivities involved Dawkins making his trademark entrance...
Broncos wideout Eric Decker connected with Peyton Manning seven times for 79 yards and a touchdown, Decker's first of the season, Sunday against Oakland.Fantasy Spin:Manning is heavily targeting Decker and Demaryius Thomas this season so owners should have no problem starting both of them.

Which Peyton Manning is going to show up? The one that beat the Raiders 37-6 is the one that John Elway wants. Manning looked the 4 time NFL MVP as he completed 30 of the 38 passes he threw against the Oakland Raiders for 338 yards and 3 touchdowns. Manning finished the game with a 130.0 rating and he looked like the Peyton Manning the fans in Denver were hoping for when the Broncos...
Denver Broncos center J.D. Walton is out for the year after the team placed him on injured reserve Monday, a day after he broke an ankle during a 37-6 rout of the Oakland Raiders. Walton left late in the first half and was replaced by veteran Dan Koppen. The move was announced by Broncos coach John Fox during his weekly press conference. Fox said Koppen should have no problem...
The Oakland Raiders ruled wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey out of Sunday's game against the Denver Broncos. Heyward-Bey took a hard shot to the head from Pittsburgh Steelers safety Ryan Mundy last week and was hospitalized overnight with a concussion and neck injury. He hadn't practiced at all this week but had been listed as doubtful to play this week until the Raiders...
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Oakland Raiders have ruled out both wide receiver Darrius Heyward-Bey and tight end Richard Gordon.
No one should be surprised that Heyward-Bey has been ruled out. He didn’t practice all week after taking a brutal hit during last week’s win over the Steelers.
