Broncos WR Eric Decker Jokes About “Rumblin, Stumblin, Bumblin” On Monday Night - At one point in the second quarter of Monday night’s game between the Denver Broncos and San Diego Chargers, a collective roar went up in the following households: Broncos fans, Chargers fans and fantasy owners with either Peyton Manning or Eric Decker. It was the last group that may have shouted the loudest. The Broncos were down 10-0 when the Broncos wide receiver caught a deep pass from Manning and had nothing but empty space between him and the end zone. But Decker stumbled and a potential explosive 85-yard touchdown was turned into a still-nice 55-yard gain. Since the Broncos came back to win, Decker could look back at his embarrassing moment with a lighter touch. He tweeted after the game, “If yall didnt see, they had trip wire out there tonight. I reported it to the NFL so an investigation is pending. #humblingmoment.” A truly great receiver would be able to anticipate that trip wire and leap over it. So get it together Decker, that’s what the triangle button is for in Madden. Read More Here!

Peyton Manning makes comical effort at tackle

Before Peyton Manning led the Broncos’ comeback on Monday Night Football, he had to provide us with some comic relief. If I had four neck surgeries, I probably wouldn’t be too keen about throwing my body in front of linebackers blocking on a Pick 6. Let’s be honest, Peyton Manning isn’t never going to be Peyton Manning of old, but you know who he reminds me of? Muhammad Ali...

Ronnie Hillman On The Rise in Denver

Denver rookie running back Ronnie Hillman was shown a lot of confidence by the Broncos coaching staff on Monday night. He was the primary backup for Willis McGahee and played in third-and-long blitzing situations.Fantasy Spin:Coach John Fox doesn't have a history of using rookie running backs so the fact that Hillman is ahead of Knowshon Moreno and Lance Ball just six games into...

The Sheriff is back and in a BIG way in San Diego

If anyone doubted Peyton Manning, they had better put them away as the Sheriff is back in town. Manning saw his Broncos get behind and completely outplayed in the first half, trailing 24-0 and no hope in sight, but like in other games this season, the “Sheriff” as people call Manning, stepped up and took the team on his back… again as the Broncos along with 6 Charger turnovers...

Monday Night Football recap: Chargers vs Broncos

Broncos: 35 Chargers: 24 Peyton Manning has gotten his elusive first road win since becoming a Denver Bronco, and he got it in dramatic fashion. The Broncos trailed the majority of the game, being down 24 points come half time against a red-hot Chargers team led by Philip Rivers. The Chargers had a tale of two different halves. In the beginning the Chargers came out strong right...

Maybe Fox will finally get out of Manning's way

SAN DIEGO By all accounts, nobody in the Denver Broncos locker room put his fist through a blackboard at halftime Monday night. Nobody yelled and screamed, or kicked over a water cooler. The Broncos, trailing by 24 points at halftime, were surprisingly calm. But it did not mean they were not filled with regret. Omar Bolden was sorry he fumbled a kickoff. Trindon Holliday lamented...

John Elway Was Right: Peyton Manning Is Back

It's a passing league - no secret to anyone. But the Broncos may have been onto something last year.  While teams shift to passing offenses, the Broncos could have doubled down on being a power run team and been competitive.  Defenses are being built to stop passing attacks, not the University of Nebraska rushing attack of the 80s. While I think some team will eventually...

Onward Steelers; Like It or Not, Time for Back-Ups to Step Up

Head Coach Mike Tomlin came down from on high for his weekly press conference and announced what sounded more like a list of soldiers in the infirmary rather than a list of injured football players.
