Beat writer Omar Kelly of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel predicts there is a “7 percent chance” free agent running back Ronnie Brown is back with the Dolphins in 2011.
Kelly says the “regime is ready to move on.” After drafting Daniel Thomas, the team is unlikely to give Brown starter’s money. They’ll likely try to add a speedier back in free agency to complement Thomas. Brown averaged an anemic 3.7 yards per carry last year and will be 30 in December.
