Week 5 - Seahawks Win! (R-Rated Thread)

The Seahawks just won a morning game on the East Coast with a backup quarterback, tight end, cornerback, and left tackle.  Hopefully the injuries to Miller, Okung, Trufant, and Jackson aren't serious, but we'll probably have to wait a day or two to hear their prognoses. Pyrrhic or not, a victory is a victory, especially when (most of) the Seahawks earn it by playing well...

NY Giants Lose Week 5 vs Seattle Seahawks

The NY Giants lose versus the Seattle Seahawks 36-25 week 5 of the 2011 season. This was by far and away one of the sloppiest games of the year. Despite many mistakes and bad overall play by New York they still had a chance to pull out another come from behind win. A pass from Eli Manning to Victor Cruz gets intercepted and ran back for a touchdown which sealed the deal for Seattle...

Deep scouting has been the key to Seahawks’ surprises

SEATTLE, Wash. -- Perhaps even more surprising than the Seattle Seahawks' 36-25 Sunday win over the New York Giants at MetLife Stadium — the franchise's first win in New York since 1983 — were the key contributions made by two undrafted free agents. Receiver Doug Baldwin and cornerback Brandon Browner came to the NFL on different career paths, but they're both making...

Giants/Seahawks: Five things to watch

As New York prepares to take on the Seattle Seahawks, the Giants will once again have to avoid the makings of a trap game. The Seahawks are an underwhelming bunch. They play in the weakest division in football (NFC West). They have a paltry 1-3 record. They place 31st in rushing yards (67.5 YPG), 27th in passing yards (217.5 YPG), while ranking 14th in rushing yards allowed (105...

Seahawks 36, Giants 25: Postgame thoughts, analysis

Share: Victor Cruz couldn’t handle Eli Manning’s pass, and as it wound up in the hands of Seahawks cornerback Brandon Browner, apparent defeat turned to certain victory for Seattle in New York on Sunday. A late Giants drive inside the Seahawks’ 10-yard line figured to produce a go-ahead score with less than two minutes remaining. But Browner’s interception — and...
