There’s definitely a feel in the air here, in the building. There’s...

NFL player announces retirement at restaurant

Defensive tackle Anthony Adams, who played four seasons with the 49ers from 2003-2006, called it a wrap on his career this week when he announced his retirement at a …wait for it… White Castle. Makes total sense to me. The former second-round pick signed with the Bears as a free agent in 2007. In nine career seasons, Adams had 10.5 sacks along with 214 tackles. After Chicago...

The Chicago Bears made ‘the right move’ clipping the great Brian Urlacher

Quizzed by the Chicago Sun Times, 12-of-13 NFL executives agreed that the one-year deal for $2 million the Bears offered free agent middle linebacker Brian Urlacher was fair. The 34-year-old Urlacher, Chicago’s pick out of the University of New Mexico with the ninth selection in the 2000 NFL Draft, reportedly refused to agree to a contract worth less than $3.5 million for the 2013...

NFL News: Browns give tryout to “Kickalicious,” Harvard Rugland

Tucked inside an updated version of Mary Kay Cabot’s column regarding Phil Dawson (as discussed here on Thursday), is a line item regarding the Cleveland Browns trying out a kicker named Havard Rugland. Rugland, 28, is a Norwegian known to many as “Kickalicious,” a trick-kick — the football equal of the basketball trick shot — artist who became an Internet sensation when...

The 5-foot-11, 200-pound Zbikowski recorded 89 tackles, three interceptions, eight pass break...

Bears Tried to Seriously Low Ball Brian Urlacher

Not trying to resign linebacker Brian Urlacher is a move that is going to be widely looked upon as a little crazy; at least by many Bears fans. However, what might really be crazy is what the team is reported to have offered the long time veteran-- One year for $2 million. Yes, he is not a spring chicken. Yes, he has had some injuries over the last few years, but $2 million...

Live from White Castle: Anthony ‘Spice’ Adams announces his retirement

Always the one to deliver a hilarious video via his YouTube channel, former 49ers and Bears DT is at it again; this time to announce his retirement from football. Will this be his retirement from making videos? We doubt it. “I OFFICIALLY SAY THE “R” WORD, RETIREMENT – THERE I SAID IT,” he wrote.
