Found December 16, 2012 on Cleveland Sports 360:
Browns 29-year-old rookie quarterback Brandon Weeden showed the home town fans who attended the last home game of the regular season he still can’t win the tough games. Weeden did something most fans thought he outgrew, he threw a couple of interceptions in the game that helped the Washington Redskins in their cause to make the play-offs this season. The fans who wished to see Colt McCoy this season got the next best thing today. The fans were able to witness first hand the kind of play McCoy would have been capable of this season. Kirk Cousins another guy who has huge success in his college career was able to roll out of the pocket all day long to find his open receivers while doing his McCoy impersonation. Weeden struggled again in the first half of the game. The Browns defense which has played great in the 2012 season help the Browns do something that Weeden failed to do, they got the Browns into the red zone to help Richardson score the first of his 2 touchdowns. Weeden continue...

Brandon Weeden’s cousin overheard on an airplane talking about the Browns

My cousin is a Browns fan and a fourth-year med student at Northeast Ohio Medical University who would never lie about anything. This is important because she was on a flight from Chicago to Cleveland this afternoon with Brandon Weeden’s cousin, who was sitting in the row in front of her and had a lot to say to the folks sitting next to him about the Browns — a lot of it firsthand...

RG3 Out, Redskins to Start Cousins

The Washington Redskins officially announced that their other rookie QB Kirk Cousins will start in place of Robert Griffin III. #Redskins announce that the team is expected to start Kirk Cousins at quarterback on Sunday vs. Cleveland. #HTTR — Redskins (@Redskins) December 16, 2012 While it’s unfortunate the Browns won’t get to face the Redskins at full strength, this news...

Cousins to start for injured RG3 on Sunday

Robert Griffin III's sprained right knee will keep him out of the starting lineup Sunday when the Washington Redskins visit the Cleveland Browns in a game with vital playoff implications. The Redskins announced Saturday night that fellow rookie Kirk Cousins will make his first career start as Redskins (7-6) try to run their winning streak to five games and keep the pressure...

In an alternative universe, Brandon Weeden signed with the Yankees years ago

And today, the Giants don't need him to beat Washington. Thus, if the Browns beat the Redskins, through an incredible loophole of irony, New York fans will have benefited from Weeden's choice not to go to NY.Leaving us all to wonder:In that alternative universe where Drew Henson said no to George, what team does Derek Jeter now play for? And is Justin Bieber a girl?

Report: Decision on RG3′s playing status will come down to team doctor

According to Albert Breer of the NFL Network (via Dan Hanzus of NFL.com), the decision on whether Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III will play in tomorrow’s game against the Browns will come down their team doctor believes is the best. According to Breer, Washington is willing to start Griffin at less than 100 percent in Cleveland, and it’s a near certainty he...

While We’re Waiting… Who will save Cleveland?

“But in Cleveland, Irving has an opportunity to be everything sports fans are seeking in the long-term. They’re seeking someone upon whom they can rely, someone to save the city from its recent run of sports mediocrity. These days, “wait until next year” no longer means challenging for a championship, or even a playoff spot, in Cleveland. It’s more like dreaming of maybe...

Fantasy Football News – Robert Griffin Will Not Start Week 15

Fantasy Football News - Dealing a huge blow to fantasy owners that took a chance on Robert Griffin III in 2012 drafts, it is now being said that he Washington Redskins franchise player will not start the week 15 game. Skins-Browns Winners & Losers

Handing out labels following Skins games. Today, a 38-21 win at Cleveland. Winners The Redskins — Normally I don’t label THE ENTIRE FRANCHISE like this, but what a win: puts them atop the NFC East (after 3-6!), establishes Cousins as a top backup/prime tradebait, gives RGIII time to heal and on and on. At 8-6, they now have their best record at this point in seven years. Kirk...

Morning Muse: NFC East up for grabs, unless you’re the Philadephia Eagles

Good morning, Eagles fans! Part of your weekend was likely watching the NFC East teams still in the hunt–i.e. every team that is not the Philadelphia Eagles. With Dallas and the Redskins getting wins on Sunday and the Giants apparently thinking they had another bye week, things are getting really interesting in the fight for the top. The big story from the division is that, even...

RG3 Likely To Return Week 16

Washington QB Robert Griffin III didn't play against Cleveland, but is likely to return to face Philadelphia in Week 16.Fantasy Spin:The Redskins' other rookie quarterback, Kirk Cousins, was impressive in his first NFL start, throwing for 329 yards in a 38-21 win over the Browns, but RGIII is not in danger of becoming Wally Pipp.

Great Days in Cleveland Browns History: “There was blood. Thick, rich, red-white-and-blue Patriot blood.”

We’d been saving this for a rainy day and here we are (at least metaphorically speaking), so enjoy this gem from a few weeks back by Jonathan Knight at The Cleveland Fan, who took a look back at “the Browns’ finest performance of the expansion era … a victory over the best team they’d faced in more than 40 years.” That’s Eric Mangini’s Browns’ 2010 drubbing of...

Kirk Cousins will start for Redskins, not Robert Griffin III

It turns out that Robert Griffin III is human after all. The Washington Redskins announced late Saturday evening that backup Kirk Cousins will start at quarterback on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns in place of Griffin. According to The Washington Times’ Rich Campbell, the team said their priorities were to see Griffin’s joint stabilize and not to risk further injury. Griffin...

Doctor to decide if RG3 plays Sunday

The playing status of Washington Redskins rookie quarterback Robert Griffin III for Sunday's game against the Cleveland Browns will be decided by the team's doctor, NFL.com reported Saturday. Griffin is listed as questionable with a sprained right knee, which he injured during last week's game against the Baltimore Ravens. He has practiced on a limited basis this...

RotoWire Waiver Injury Report

Robert Griffin III The Redskins continued their strong push for the playoffs behind their rookie quarterback. However, it wasn't the former Heisman winner behind center but instead a guy taken 100 picks later. Kirk Cousins threw for 329 yards and two touchdowns filling in for the injured RGIII and could be in line for a second straight start. RGIII did not play after spraining...

Redskins 38, Browns 21

CLEVELAND -- The Washington Redskins kept their playoff hopes alive Sunday by scoring 28 points in the second half to beat the Cleveland Browns 38-21 for their fifth straight victory.
