Found October 14, 2013 on NFL Injury Report:
Cleveland Browns quarterback, Brandon Weeden, did not play particularly well in the Browns’ Sunday afternoon loss to the Detroit Lions.  In fact, after witnessing one of the ugliest interceptions tossed by any QB in the past half decade, Browns head coach, Rob Chudzinski, is still sticking with his much-maligned QB, reports Josh Alper of NBCSports. The horrendous interception in question occurred during a critical possession for the Browns in the fourth quarter.  The Browns were down by seven at this point and Weeden under duress inexplicably tried a backhanded flip near running back Chris Ogbonnaya. Lions’ linebacker, DeAndre Levy, intercepted the wobbly pigskin.  The Lions subsequently drove in for the score in a 31-17 victory. It was a poor decision and it looked almost sad to see Weeden vomit all over himself.  However, coach Chud is sticking with Weeden, saying Monday, Weeden “played well in spurts.” Jason Campbell is next in line to come in if Weeden continues to lay onions.  The Browns must not be sold on Campbell as they chose Brian Hoyer over Campbell a few weeks ago when Weeden went down with an injured finger. However, the unpredictability of the NFL has landed Weeden back under center as Hoyer is now done for the season with a knee injury.  The bottom line is that Weeden needs to play better and needs to stop making bad decisions and embarrassing plays if the Browns want to compete. Coach Chud has Weeden’s back, for now.  Considering the alternative, he has no choice.     You can follow me on twitter @TheSoftParade69 Talk football talk cigars talk anything, I know a little about a lot.

Video: Cleveland Browns fan burns Brandon Weeden jersey

Nobody in Browns town likes it when the Browns lose, but one fan apparently hated it so much that he filmed the burning of his Brandon Weeden jersey. As I stated on Twitter last week, I haven’t bought a Browns jersey since my Kellen Winslow one was rendered useless. I bet this Browns fan wishes he could say the same. Or maybe pyromania is more exciting than not wasting money on...

NFL News: Cleveland Browns stick with Brandon Weeden as starter

The Browns surprised few today when Rob Chudzinski announced that they were sticking with Brandon Weeden as starter. Sure, Weeden might have thrown one of the worst passes in NFL history yesterday in a loss to the Detroit Lions, but who else were they going to use? Did you also forget that Jason Campbell’s brief appearance for the Browns in the second game of the year also included...

Nothing to see here, just a kid slamming a beer at a Cleveland Browns tailgate (pic)

Here’s a photo of a kid approximately toddler-age appearing to enjoy a cold one during a recent Cleveland Browns tailgating party. Somebody must have just told him that Brandon Weeden is remaining the team’s starting quarterback. While there is no way for certain to confirm that the beer can this youngster is holding and tipping […]The post Nothing to see here, just a kid slamming...

Cleveland Browns Fan Posts ‘Quarterback Wanted’ Craigslist Ad, Says ‘If You Can Throw a Ball, Come Apply’

Brandon Weeden just isn’t cutting it in Cleveland in the minds of some fans. The Browns seemed to have some semblance of a shot this season, but one fan has grown impatient with the team’s quarterback, so that fan has taken to the best place to find whatever random thing you are looking for — Craigslist — in search of a new signal caller. Weeden has a 71.4 passer rating and...

Brandon Weeden’s Terrible Interception (GIF)

The Browns were up 17-7 at halftime, but did not manage to score after that losing 31-17; this certainly didn’t help Brandon Weeden and the Browns’ cause. Granted Lions linebacker, DeAndre Levy made a fantastic play on the ball, this was one of the more poorly executed plays of the 2013 season. The post Brandon Weeden’s Terrible Interception (GIF) appeared first on The Farm Club.

Browns not making switch at QB

Browns coach Rob Chudzinski will not bench quarterback Brandon Weeden following Sunday's loss to Detroit. Weeden threw an interception in the fourth quarter of the 31-17 loss to the Lions, who outscored the Browns 24-0 in the second half. But Chudzinski said Weeden played ''well in spurts'' and he has no intention of making a switch to backup Jason Campbell...

No QB change coming for the Browns

Browns QB Brandon Weeden hasn’t been playing high level football. He may have had the ugliest interception of the season when he tried to backhand a pass against Detroit that eventually resulted in a TD. That was one of two interceptions on the day for Weeden. Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports that that doesn’t open the door for backup Jason Campbell. Chudzinski...

Chudzinski Sticks with Weeden

Despite the poor second half Sunday against the Detroit Lions, the Browns announced Monday that Brandon Weeden will continue to be the starting quarterback for the 3-3 squad.

Can the Browns give fans anything to believe in this year?

It’s a confusing time to be a Browns fan. I guess it’s always a confusing time to be a Browns fan, but this is a conundrum almost unlike any other since 1999. The Cleveland Browns might not be traditional trailblazers, but they do find new and interesting ways to confuse their fans. The Cleveland Browns are in contention right now, but they’re really not. Their record says...

Browns OL Joe Thomas: ‘Brandon Weeden can Lead Us to Playoffs’

It appeared that the Browns had given up on the 2013 season after an 0-2 start and trading RB Trent Richardson to the Colts.  Then Brian Hoyer came along and led the Browns to consecutive wins before he was injured in a Thursday night game vs. the Bills.  Brandon Weeden, who was the starter, came in the game and led the Browns to victory and first place in the AFC North. Despite...

NFL reviewing Ndamukong Suh's hit on Brandon Weeden

Ndamukong Suh again finds himself in the NFL's crosshairs. The Lions defensive tackle who has already been fined $100000 this season for an illegal block on Vikings' center John Sullivan could be facing more sanctions after a questionable hit on Browns quarterback Brandon Weeden last Sunday. The play wasn't flagged on the field but it didn't escape the watchful eye...
