While neither of them will be named “Phil Dawson,” the Cleveland Browns may consider carrying two kickers into the 2013 NFL season.  ESPN.com’s AFC North blogger Jamison Hensley writes that Cleveland may need both veteran Shayne Graham and the little-known Brandon Bogotay to replace the departed Pro Bowler. “It’s possible the Browns could use Graham to handle most of the field goals and keep Bogotay for kickoffs and long-range kicks,” writes Hensley. ”Keeping two kickers is a rarity these days in the NFL, especially since the league moved kickoffs to the 35-yard line in 2011. Last year, only the Buffalo Bills had a kickoff specialist for an extended period and they cut John Potter after six weeks.” Graham is the fifth-most accurate kicker in NFL history while Bogotay attempted only three field goals in college, making just one of them. Those who have seen Bogotay in minicamp, however, have been impressed by the youngster’s ability to hit field goals from beyond 50 yards. Browns head coach Rob Chudzinski has referred to the two kickers competing in a “back and forth” manner and that the evaluation is ongoing.
