It was a curious move when the Browns signed Eric Ghiaciuc, the center found wanting by the division-rival Cincinnati Bengals. Originally drafted by Philadelphia in the seventh round (213th overall) last year out of Arizona State, Fanaika spent the first 11 weeks on the Eagles' practice squad before being signed to Washington's active roster in November.
