Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer reports league sources have mentioned that the Browns are among the teams that have expressed interest in free agent TE Jared Cook.
Cabot adds that Dolphins and Bears are also in the mix as well.
Cook, 25, is considered to be the best available tight end in this year’s free agent class and reports have indicated that as many as 8-10 teams are believed to be targeting him. He figures to be in a position to command anywhere from $6 million to $10 million annually.
The Titans reportedly would like to retain Cook, but it seems increasingly likely that he’ll be playing elsewhere.
We have him listed as the No. 14 best available player in our Top 50 Free Agents list.
