Browns linebacker Scott Fujita says he plans to reschedule his postponed meeting with NFL commissioner Roger Goodell about the Saints bounty scandal.
Fujita had planned to speak with Goodell via a video conference from a Cleveland law office on Tuesday, but the league called it off because it wanted a face-to-face meeting. Fujita said he received an email Monday evening requesting the in-person meeting. Fujita was unable to travel to New York because he's still receiving treatment on an injured left knee.
Fujita said ''we'll figure something out'' and he's confident he will meet in the near future with Goodell. Fujita was initially suspended three games for his involvement in the pay-for-hits program. However, an appeals panel recently overturned his suspension, allowing the 33-year-old to rejoin the Browns.
Fujita has maintained his innocence since the scandal surfaced in March.

Comedian and former Monday Night Football commentator Dennis Miller made an appearance today on the Rich Eisen Podcast.
During his interview, Miller questioned what NFL Roger Goodell is doing to clean up the NFL and make it safer.
“I don’t know what Goodell’s doing,” Miller said. “It is a violent game. And if he really believes what he’s believing, then I find what he’s...
I am the last person to judge, and I personally don’t find anything wrong with the below for any person not in the public spotlight. However, when Roger Goodell is your boss and you have thousands of kids looking up to you as a role model, you might want to rethink having pictures like the below floating around the internet. On the flip-side, if some of those kids are actually...
Scott Fujita has seen a good name he built for 11 years in the NFL sullied by the league associating him with the New Orleans Saints alleged bounty (i.e. pay to injure) program.
Fujita has fought a three-game suspension and made it clear he never gave money to injure another player.
His fight follows a lockout when he advocated new measures to improve player safety as a member of...
During the NFL's most recent offseason, the New York Giants reloaded their roster in preparation for another Super Bowl run and nearly every other team looked to rebuild in hopes of hoisting the Lombardi Trophy at season's end. Meanwhile, the New Orleans Saints watched as their Super Bowl-caliber team was ripped apart in the name of player safety. The NFL's primary focus...
In 2010, when Roger Goodell suspended Ben Roethlisberger, there were a few rumblings. In 2011, when the NFL owners locked out NFLPA members, there were a few more. Now that the league is in the midst of a labor dispute with the referee’s union, the rumblings have become a full-throated roar. The man we were [...]
We’ve been saying this since the pre-season, but after this weekend’s games (and particularly the Monday night junk show that we all witnessed), it’s become more than painfully obvious that the replacement officials charged with policing the multi-billion dollar NFL are in over their heads … and it’s having a very real affect on the quality of the product on the field....
The worst fans in the NFL: (5.) Jets (4.) Eagles (3.) Cowboys (2.) Raiders (1.) Steelers. When you are rocking a ‘YOURMOM’ 69 jersey during the home opener, Steelers fan pushes to the front. Sure, Raiders fans will curb stomp each other, but Steelers fans just have to be vile, white sock wearing, trash. Does Roger Goodell want fans walking around a stadium with kids asking what...

If you haven’t read Jason Whitlock’s article about how hypocritical Roger Goodell is pretending he cares about player safety, while simultaneously expanding Thursday Night Football to a season long thing and trying to expand the season to 18 games, here it is. It’s a very good read and yet another reason to hate Thursday Night...
In today’s NFL, there’s no shortage of things to complain about if you’re a player.
There’s the persistency of terrible officiating by replacement refs, concussions becoming as common as busted Matt Millen draft picks and murky discipline decisions by NFL czar Roger Goodell.
However, shiny new prodigy Robert Griffin III found a few more...
