Lombadi has worked for NFL Network most recently. He also worked at CBSSports, and Inside the NFL. He has NFL experience working for the Raiders,Eagles, Rams, 49ers and Browns in some capacity in the NFL from 1987-2007 before decided to get into sports writing and TV analysis.
I don’t know if this is a good thing for the Browns. Lombardi was Senior Personnel Executive for the Raiders Al Davis when they took JaMarcus Russell number one overall in 2007, and hasn’t been in football since.
