Waiting For Next Year:
The big show stopped by today and brought me a ton of stuff that was pretty awseome
— Jason Pinkston (@JasonPinkstonOL) October 22, 2012
Tweeting from his hospital bed, Cleveland Browns offensive lineman Jason Pinkston has been interacting with fans and updating them on his status since being admitted to the Cleveland Clinic with a blood clot in his lung. Pinkston apparently had a visitor in retiring team president Mike Holmgren and stated that while he was supposed to be released today, “something came up” that will delay his departure.
Admitted following the team’s win over the Cincinnati Bengals after days of discomfort, there is no timetable for Pinkston’s return. John Greco started in Pinkston’s place in the team’s recent loss to the Indianapolis Colts.

BEREA, Ohio (AP) -- Cleveland Browns guard Jason Pinkston remains hospitalized with blood clots in his lungs.
Pinkston was rushed to the Cleveland Clinic on Thursday with the life-threatening condition. He had been feeling poorly for most of last week and had gotten ill during the previous Sunday's game against Cincinnati. The 25-year-old will likely miss the remainder of this...
Cleveland Browns rookie running back Trent Richardson was adamant that even after suffering a rib injury last week, he would be ready to play today against the Colts. Today that was not the case, and whether it was the injury or non effectiveness, Trent Richardson did not finish the game against the Colts. Browns head coach Pat Shurmur felt he had seen enough of Richardson could...
It takes a serious blow for anyone on a team with the best left tackle in the game to be blindsided by any play, but when Randy Lerner decided to sell the majority portion of the Cleveland Browns back in June, team president Mike Holmgren found himself face down with a mask full of field turf.
ESPNCleveland’s Tony Grossi’s latest discusses the man who was brought in to fix the...
We don’t post all press conferences, but this one signaling the end of the Mike Holmgren era seemed worth adding to the site. Or, you can skip it and read Scott’s artful take on it.
(Opening statement) – “I’d like to start off by thanking Randy Lerner, first of all, for giving me the opportunity to come to Cleveland. My year off when he came to visit me in Arizona, he...
Cleveland running back Trent Richardson has exited the game and is questionable to return.Fantasy Spin:Though the Browns haven't announced why Richardson is on the sidelines, we're guessing it has something to do with the rib injury that forced him from last week's game against the Bengals. Montario Hardesty has come on to take his place rushing for 24 yards on six carries.
Cleveland running back Trent Richardson (ribs) will be evaluated on a week-to-week basis, Browns coach Mike Shurmur said according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer. Shurmur pulled Richardson Sunday after just eight carries but didn't give a definitive reason other than saying, "There were some things happening out there where we weren't having efficiency running the football...
While Cleveland Browns running back Trent Richardson was
able to start Sunday’s game against the Indianapolis Colts, the rookie was
eventually removed from the game by coach Pat Shurmur, reports Kareem Copeland
"We just kind of didn't
feel like he could play as effective as he'd been," Shurmur said. "He
wanted to play."
Lost in all of the Pat Shurmur play-calling bashing, questions about the health of Trent Richardson, the special teams disaster, the extra point gaff by Reggie Hodges, and of course the big drop by Josh Gordon was the stellar play of rookie QB Brandon Weeden.
Remember back after the 17-16 season-opening loss to Philadelphia, half of the city was already done with Weeden? The Colt...
The Browns ground game went nowhere, and Josh Gordon inexplicably dropped a touchdown pass in the end zone.
Game One of the Jimmy Haslam era.
After beating the Bengals last week in Cleveland, the Browns are looking to start an honest-to-god win streak against Andrew Luck and Indianapolis Colts.

Sure to see plenty of this going around this week- “Gordon is emerging as a very nice player for the Browns, a good find in the supplemental draft this year. He was supposed...
