The Cleveland Browns aren’t going to hand Brandon Weeden anything coming into the 2013 NFL season. Unlike last season Weeden will have to earn his spot as the Browns starting quarterback. While Joe Banner has ruled out the taking of any quarterbacks with the 6 pick in the draft, he hasn’t ruled out replacing Brandon Weeden as the teams starter. The Browns are more optimistic with Norv Turner as the offensive coordinator, and they think working with Norv could be an improvement over what they put on the field last season. Rod Chudzinski won’t rule out trading Colt McCoy or Brandon Weeden, thinks Norv Turner can help Weeden

It’s not a very well kept secret that the Cleveland Browns aren’t enamored with either Colt McCoy or Brandon Weeden. Will The Cleveland Browns Continue Their Tradition Of Taking Physically Damaged Players With High Draft Picks?

Here’s an idea for ya Michael Lombardi and company. Use one of the Browns high draft picks to select a player with medical problems. Wait, the team just did that in the 2012 draft. They selected a player that had knee problems and needed to have knee surgery that would eliminate him from participating from preseason football. Why not do it again, keep the tradition going, use a...

Cleveland Sports Life Boat – Browns Head Coaches

I am a huge fan of the Ron and Fez show on Sirius XM Satellite radio. They do a bit on the radio called life boat, and I’m borrowing it for Cleveland sports. Here’s how it works. There are four people and only three seats remaining on the life boat. You must work your way through the list of candidates and, unfortunately, someone is designated to try their hand at long-distance...

But as all of these measurements and assessments take place, it begs the question: What is going on with this draft class? I’ve been monitoring draft boards...
