Who caught your eye? Did someone stand out? Who blew it? That’s what were interested in this morning. Winners and losers.
The Browns are 0-5. They have lost 11 in a row going back to last season. But hey, it can’t be all bad right? Right?
LOSER: Joe Haden. Haden sat out his fourth and final game due to suspension. How much would Haden have helped the Browns during these four...
Cleveland Browns QB Brandon Weeden had his red zone pass deflected off a helmet and right back into his hands. So what does he do? He throws it again of course, and connects with Jordan Cameron for what would've been a TD.
Problem is, you can't do that Brandon! One pass per play rookie. Cleveland was penalized 5 yards, and of course on the very next play, he throws a pick...
I’m sure some of you are already tired of this and think it is being beaten to death, but I just read on Twitter that Pat Shurmur is still defending the play saying Jordan Norwood was open in the first read. Anyway, I won’t tell you where I stand on it anymore, but it is worth going through the pictures to discuss the progression.
First up is the third and one where Trent Richardson...
Browns rookie quarterback Brandon Weeden came out today in New York and showed me and everyone else he could get the Browns down field and he could do it quickly. The Browns largely due to Weeden’s accurate pass jumped into the lead over the defending Super Bowl Champs in the first minute of the game. The Cleveland fans thought at last, the team could get their first win of the...
Head Coach Pat Shurmur has two guy that could add to the Cleveland Browns backfield, both Montario Hardesty and Brandon Jackson have experience in the NFL and could contribute to the Browns running or receiving game. Why they are not involved is anyone’s guess. Shurmur had high praises for both guys coming out of training camp. We saw Hardesty have some good runs in the preseason...
Browns Want To Increase Rookie RB Richardson’s Role -Browns head coach Pat Shurmur confirmed that the Browns are working with Trent Richardson on a goal of making him a true every-down back. Richardson missed the entire preseason, so he opened the season as a two-down back who left the field in favor of Chris Ogbonnaya in passing situations. Richardson has 15 receptions over his...
Browns running back Trent Richardson rushed for 81 yards and a touchdown on 17 carries and caught five passes for 47 yards Sunday against the Giants.Fantasy Spin:Richardson has lived up to the hype even though the Browns are 0-5 and have been inconsistent offensively. Through five games, he has 303 yards rushing, 169 yards receiving and five total touchdowns on 101 touches (81 carries...
Now that his four game suspension is over for using performance enhancing drugs, Cleveland Browns cornerback Joe Haden is back and apologized to his teammates letting them down.“I would like to apologize to my fans, Haden Nation, the Cleveland Browns organization, front office, all the coaches. I hurt a lot of people. I hurt myself for sure. But I hurt a lot of people with the...
The last time the Cleveland Browns faced the New York football Giants, it was a Monday night, the Giants were the defending Super Bowl champs and the Browns were starting some guy named Derek Anderson. It was magical.
Oh, Derek Anderson, I miss you.
While the Giants are again defending Super Bowl champs, the Browns are starting a different rifle-armed QB and rather than hosting...
The apology came from Joe Haden's heart. He knows he let down the Browns.
Speaking for the first time since he was suspended four games by the NFL, Haden acknowledged Monday that he tested positive for the stimulant Adderall, leading him to be banned for violating the league's policy on performance-enhancing substances.
Haden, one of Cleveland's best players, apologized...
When he wasn’t interrupting would-be inquiries from the in-attendance media members following his team’s recent 41-27 loss at the hands of the New York Giants, Cleveland Browns head coach Pat Shurmur was offering responses which floated back and forth between non-answers and downright condescension. Fielding questions regarding his in-game decision making, many of which were...
Wide receivers Mohamed Massaquoi and Travis Benjamin have been downgraded to out for the Cleveland Browns' game at the New York Giants on Sunday. Both are dealing with hamstring injuries.

The Giants never play well when they are the favorites, they need turmoil, injuries, and people not believing in them. The Browns went up quick and it’s never a good idea to have your MLB on a fast WR on a go-route.
