Browns OL Questionable To Return Against Jaguars Due To Injury
USA TODAY Sports

Another week of football. Another key injury for the Browns. Cleveland watched center Ethan Pocic exit Sunday's matchup with the Jaguars with an injury on its second series of the day. His return is currently questionable with what's being called a "stinger."

On the play in question, Pocic got tied up with a wall of players and was slow to get up. He exited the game with over nine minutes to go in the first quarter and went immediately into the blue medical tent with the help from trainers befroe eventually heading to the locker room to be evaluated further.

It's the latest injury in a long list of injuries for Cleveland this season, granted, in this instance it doesn't appear to be overly concerning the Browns starting center.

In his place, Nick Harris has taken over at center. Ironically, Harris was slated to be the Browns starter in the middle of the offensive line last season but tore his ACL in the team's preseason opener and spent the rest of the year on the IR.

For much of this season, Harris has been serving often times in a fullback role for Cleveland, lead blocking for backs Kareem Hunt and Jerome Ford. Now he's has returned to his natural position along the offensive line.

After signing with the Browns in during the 2022 offseason and being thrust into action in place of Harris, the 28-year-old signed a three-year, $18 million extension this offseason to remain in Cleveland.

It's unclear if Pocic will be able to return to the game.
