PLAYERS: Jimmy Haslam
TEAMS: Cleveland Browns
A few weeks back, people felt the Cleveland Browns were giving up on the season when they traded away starting running back Trent Richardson. However, since then, the Browns have won three straight games and have moved into first place in the AFC North division. Based on these developments, it seems that Browns owner Jimmy Haslam is having the last laugh. Literally, as can be seen by this video of Haslam in his suite during the fourth quarter of Thursday night's victory over Buffalo. Not sure what exactly what Haslam thought so hysterically funny at the time, as with 2:16 left in the game, the Browns were only up by six points and the Bills had the ball. However, with things working out so well for the Browns, maybe Haslem just knew things would turn out well. NOTE: The voice on the video is not Jimmy Haslam's voice. It was clearly added for comedic effect...and it works perfectly. Vine via Chris Knopick.  H/T Sports Pickle. Visit us at and follow us on Twitter @HoldoutSports.

Brandon Weeden is even delivering wins now for the Cleveland Browns, and this is making Browns owner Jimmy Haslam and his crew very happy men.  Last night’s Thursday Night Football featured injuries to the two starting quarterbacks, a nifty punt return touchdown by Travis Benjamin and the new Browns owner having the time of his life in his press box. Browns bracing for the worst with Brian Hoyer injury

Looks liked benched quarterback Brandon Weeden may have won his starting job back by default as Brian Hoyer went down in the 1st quarter against the Buffalo Bills Thursday night and his outlook doesn't look promising. The team fears Hoyer may have torn his ACL.

According to USA Today’s Tom Pelissero the Browns will meet with free agent QB Tyler Thigpen on Friday night. This is great sign if your last name is Weeden. Hoyer’s ACL tear: Unfortunate, but a blessing in disguise for Browns

SCOTT JACOBS Brian Hoyer was a nice story. So was the Browns recent surge. And in one play, all that good-will, all that excitement generated by a local kid, turned starting quarterback, evaporated. And with it, a fascinating discussion point. Hoyer tore his ACL courteous of a first quarter slide – usually a safe play, but this is the Browns we’re talking about — and he instantly...

Browns lose Hoyer but defeat Bills, 37-24, behind Weeden

The feel-good hometown hero story of Brian Hoyer took a crushing turn Thursday night when the quarterback suffered a potentially serious right knee injury in the first quarter of Thursday night's game against Buffalo at FirstEnergy Stadium. But the never-say-die Browns put on a thrilling performance in Hoyer's absence pulling away with Brandon Weeden at quarterback for a...
