The Cleveland Browns announced that they have placed linebacker Scott Fujita and defensive end Emmanuel Stephens on injured reserve. Fujita was to undergo surgery this week to repair a broken right hand, while Stephens was expected to miss some time with a pectoral injury. Fujita broke his hand in two places during the fourth quarter of Sunday's 23-20 loss to the Cincinnati Bengals. A first-year player out of Mississippi, Stephens has appeared in 11 games this season and worked his way into the starting lineup earlier this month. Replacing Fujita and Stephens on the 53-man roster will be defensive Brian Sanford and linebacker Benjamin Jacobs, who are being elevated from the team's practice squad.
