Pro Sports Daily:
The Cleveland Browns have placed safety T.J. Ward on injured reserve with a sprained right foot.
Ward was injured in a game against Houston on Nov. 6 and had spent the subsequent weeks trying to get back on the field.
Coach Pat Shurmer said Ward will not require surgery as of now.
Last year's second-round pick out of Oregon had 38 tackles and one forced fumble on the campaign. He had started eight games prior to the injury.

Greg Little (credits below) The time, dear friends, is short. In about 17 days, the fantasy football season will, in most cases, be over. The bright light that once was a veritable banquet of stats, prognostications and moments of both exultation and gut-wrenching remorse soon will fade into the distance and be replaced by lesser vices like fantasy basketball and baseball. Until...

It’s tough to remember that another football game actually took place between Colt McCoy’s concussion and this coming contest between the Browns and the Ravens, but it’s true: actual football has been played since James Harrison went all full-forced Zenedine Zidane on the Browns’ quarterback.
Seneca Wallace will be getting the nod once again, but his receiving corps is...
The quarterback "did some physical activity," but is not ready to resume work, according to Browns coach Pat Shurmur.

PASSING OFFENSE: C minus -- Cleveland fans will celebrate Seneca Wallace's 226 yards and his 76-yard touchdown throw to Greg Little, as they should. Wallace did some good things. But the big picture also has to be considered, and when it mattered most, Wallace did not come through. The Browns had the ball four times in overtime and the fourth quarter after Arizona had cut its...
Colt McCoy, the Browns quarterback, was not cleared to practice again Wednesday, keeping him sidelined since he was hit in the face mask by Pittsburgh’s James Harrison on Dec. 8.
Browns quarterback Colt McCoy still hasn't shaken symptoms from a concussion sustained nearly two weeks ago, one that has reformed the NFL's game-day procedures on head injuries.
Middle linebacker embracing role as spoilerWith the Cleveland Browns assured of their fourth consecutive sub-.500 campaign and their eighth in the past nine years, it might be surmised that the Browns have nothing left to play for with just two regular-season games remaining against the Ravens on Christmas Eve and the Pittsburgh Steelers on New Year’s Day.

Wow Factor of this Jersey: 9.8 out of 10. There are few jerseys that are as random and awesome as this one. Had this been a Cory Schlesinger jersey we may have given this a 10.

James Harrison returned to practice on Wednesday for the Steelers. With the way Pittsburgh played on the road in San Francisco Monday night, they need all the help they can get. Harrison spoke to reporters after practice and had a number of quick responses, most of which indicate he now has an “oh well” attitude when the league reprimands him. He did, however, say he thinks the...
The NFL is changing how it handles concussion examinations after Browns quarterback Colt McCoy went back into a Dec. 8 game without being tested for one.
In recent history, the Cleveland Browns have faired poorly against one of the NFL’s best defensive units, the Baltimore Ravens. The anchor of the Ravens defense, linebacker Ray Lewis has posted some impressive numbers against the Browns in his career. In 22 games, Lewis has made 257 tackles, with four interceptions, seven sacks and a [...]
Well, here we are again. Another AFC North matchup with the Browns heavy underdogs on the road against the Baltimore Ravens, who are headed to the playoffs once again. Three weeks ago in Cleveland, Ray Rice ran all over the Browns to the tune of 204 yards rushing. Colt McCoy, T.J. Ward, and Jordan Norwood will all be sitting this one out for our Browns.
