Josh Cribbs has been critical in his assessment of how he’s been used offensively by the former coach Pat Shurmur. He’s told the media other players get opportunities that should rightfully go to him. However, Cribbs will meet with the new staff for the Browns, hopefully to get a more defined role in the offense, and get paid. The three time Pro Bowler wants to be more than a special teams specialist, he wants to be a part of the offensive flow. Cribb’s agent J.R. Rickert says that the two camps will meet during the NFL Combine to see if they can hammer home a deal. "Josh has really built a foundation there with the city and with the team," Rickert said, via Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plains Dealer. "Cleveland is a second home to him. But he's also a professional and he wants to play. If they if don't re-sign him, he'll pursue other options as they're available." "He's a three-time Pro Bowler, a guy that can change the game on one play," he said. "He can make things happen on special teams and offense and he's a guy that other teams have to game-plan for." "As a third-down back and a special team’s guy, he's the guy that can do a lot of things for you," Rickert said. "It would not surprise me if there were teams out there that would make an offer. You're talking about a seventh-round compensation. It also wouldn't surprise me if the Browns wanted him to stay."   var switchTo5x=true; stLight.options({publisher:''});
