First year Cleveland Browns head coach Rod Chudzinski may not have had as many draft picks as a first year coach might have liked, however, he was able to turn heads with his first selections of the 2013 NFL Draft.
Chudzinski addressed two of the team’s bigger defensive needs with his first two picks in April as he drafted linebacker Barkevious Mingo and cornerback Leon McFadden, in the first and third rounds respectively.
Chudzinski may still have his hands full with a team that lost its first five games of the season a year ago, but these rookies may be able to come in and have an immediate effect on the Browns’ success this season.
