The Cleveland Browns continued to revampt their front seven with the addition of Barkevious Mingo with the No. 6 overall pick in the 2013 NFL Draft.
Mingo collected a whopping 15 TKFL (tackles for loss) with 8.0 sacks in his sophomore season before his production dipped to 8.5 TKFL with 4.5 sacks in 2012. Nevertheless, his stock started to soar over the last two weeks and his presence will give Ray Horton’s new defense much more depth and flexibility.
Look for the LSU product to have a very solid immediate impact with the Browns and line up opposite Paul Kruger in an effective rotation with Quentin Groves and/or Jabaal Sheard, who led the team with 7.0 sacks last season.
