The Cleveland Browns announced several roster moves on Tuesday, including the signing of wide receiver Demetrius Williams. A fourth-round pick (111th overall) out of Oregon by the Baltimore Ravens in 2006, Williams (6-2, 197) has 63 receptions for 1,008 yards and 4 touchdowns during his 44-game NFL career, all with the Ravens. Tendered at the "Original Round" level this off-season by the Ravens, Williams was released on September 4 after catching five passes for 65 yards during the pre-season. The Browns released wide receiver Yamon Figurs to add Williams, and confirmed the new reported on Monday by FOXSports.com's Adam Caplan that they had claimed running back Thomas Clayton off waivers and released running back James Davis.
