A day after the team parted ways with fan favorite Joe Jurevicius, it looks as though the team could let another offensive starter go.  The team says that it will cut RT Kevin Shaffer, unless he restructures his deal.  Shaffer is owed a $1 million bonus come tomorrow, and the Browns don’t want anything to do with it.  So unless Shaffer, his agent, and the team can come to some agreement in the next 5 or so hours Shaffer could find himself a new home for next season. Shaffer is also owed a whopping $2.65 million base salary this coming season.  In the past 3 seasons Shaffer has missed a total of 1 game, coming this past season.  In 2006 he started each game at left tackle and then in ‘07 made the move over to right tackle, starting in 31 of a possible 32 games. I have no clue what ManKok is doing these days and what their plans are, but it seems to me as though they don’t involve winning anytime soon.  Is $3.65 million really too much to pay a STARTER?!?!?! *Scratch that, as I was typing this article, the Shaffer release has gone official
