Look who's leading the way Vickers
The Cleveland Browns must be blind, Peyton Hillis hasn’t made an impact at all this year the reason is no Lawrence Vickers or anyone like him on the Browns this year. Now Shurmur is scratching his head trying to find a tight end to block for Hillis so he can be an effective runner. With Watson out for the remainder of the season the Browns are worried about run blocking. Hillis had one banner year in the NFL and even that wasn’t what I would call fantastic. He only averaged around 75 yards per game last season.
The reason Hillis can’t duplicate the style of running he had last season is the Browns have no Lawrence Vickers busting people out of Hillis’s way. The Browns have no one at all that even resembles a Vickers blocking anyone. I’ll bet if Vickers were still a Cleveland Browns he would have block Harrison and McCoy doesn’t get hit. That’s what Vickers did he blocked ,blocked and blocked some more....
