Cleveland Browns rookie running back Trent Richardson was adamant that even after suffering a rib injury last week, he would be ready to play today against the Colts. Today that was not the case, and whether it was the injury or non effectiveness, Trent Richardson did not finish the game against the Colts. Browns head coach Pat Shurmur felt he had seen enough of Richardson could only muster 8 yards on 8 carries. NFL.com is reporting that Richardson himself was none to pleased about what he deemed being benched. “The injury was pretty bad, I guess it limited me a lot,” Richardson said. “It hurt me inside just not being out there. … I didn’t want to come out. “Pat knows what’s best. He made his decision. I think he made a great decision.
