According to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain-Dealer,  Browns head coach Rob Chudzinski told reporters that they don’t know when rookie linebacker Barkevious Mingo will play again. “Basically, the bottom line with KeKe is nobody really knows,” said Chudzinski. “It’s just how his body is going to heal.” Chudzinski said the examinations on Mingo, who suffered a bruised lung Thursday night against the Lions are “sort of an ongoing thing.” The Browns have to wait for Mingo’s bruise to heal fully before they can put him back out on the field. It remains somewhat of a mystery what caused the bruise in the first place. Mingo said he first felt shortness of breath when he was covering the opening kickoff. It continued to get worse, and then he spit up blood on the sidelines after he left the field early in the second quarter. The Browns have to be smart and not rush Mingo back.  With two preseason games left, there’s reason to rush him back.       Need NFL Tickets? Loading...
