PLAYERS: Greg Little
TEAMS: Cleveland Browns
When Greg Little gets it right , he gets it right. One thing about converting a running back to wide receiver is the fact these guys can take contact. When Little makes the catch and he is in the open field he is difficult to bring down. Little had 4 catches for 45 yards last night in Green Bay and his long was for 24 yards. Little was over the middle when he came into contact with 2 Packers defenders that had their hands full trying to stop Greg Little’s forward progress. Many fans have to remember last season was Little’s first year in the NFL and his first year playing wide receiver. Playing wide receiver in the NFL is much more difficult than people think, the great ones learn how to create separation between them and the defenders before making the catch. The great thing about Greg Little is the fact that once he makes the catch, he can get the yards afterwards. Little still needs to focus first on catching the football. Once he can do this he will be one of the Browns best wid...

Never forget Josh Cribbs’ difficult NFL path

Admittedly, Josh Cribbs has been a bit schizophrenic in public lately. Last year he talked about needing to get back to his special teams roots. Since then it’s been a bit frantic trying to figure out whether Josh Cribbs wants to play receiver or if the team wants him to play there either. All the while, Josh Cribbs seemed to be saying that he might just speak up later this year...

Good signs for Browns in pre-season win

Theres no sense sugarcoating that Cleveland Browns performance in preseason Game 2 Thursday night. That was a good effort. Never mind that Green Bay treated the game like a scrimmage and the Browns starters played more than the Packers its been a long time since so much positive came out of a game. The Packers may have seemed woefully disinterested, but it was a game the Browns...

Things to watch for in the Cleveland Browns 2nd preseason game.

This evening the Cleveland Browns will be going head-to-head against the Green Bay Packers in their 2nd preseason game of the year. The Browns go into the game having won their first preseason game against the Detroit Lions, but the overall performance had much to be desired by many Browns fans. It is ALWAYS important to remember to not look into the performance of the team or player...

VP candidate Paul Ryan praises “Brendan Wheaton.”

I just have to chuckle at this one. I have little to zero interest in politics, and adhere to the age-old saying: “they’re all idiots.” But Republican candidate Mitt Romney’s running partner, Paul Ryan, took it a step further during a recent campaign stop in Ohio. He praised the Cleveland Browns, and even went on to praise current rookie quarterback, Brendan Wheaton. Pretty...

Browns LB Scott Fujita, NFLPA's DeMaurice Smith Challenge Goodell's Bounty Statemen

The NFL Players Association has filed documents in federal court disputing Commissioner Roger Goodell's sworn statement that he was prepared to discipline players for their involvement in the Saints bounty pool back in March, but waited until May as a courtesy to the union, the Associated Press reports. Attorneys for four players suspended in the bounty investigation have argued...

Smell the air. Tilt your head back, stick your nose in the air & sniff. Take a deep breath. It’s that beautiful smell of Week 2 of the NFL preseason. Thoughts from the Cleveland Browns vs. Green Bay Packers Preseason Game

Follow @ClevelandDTR By: Eric Grinnell I didn’t have a chance to watch last week’s game against the Lions, so I was really excited to watch Browns take on the Pack last night.  While watching the game I kept trying to remind myself that it’s important to not draw too much from preseason games.  In last night’s game alone the Browns were missing Trent Richardson, Travis...
