For those who don’t know, Browns receiver Mohamed Massaquoi and head coach Pat Shurmur are engaged in a somewhat comical “feud.” Long story short: Massaquoi left the team’s preseason opener last Friday with what Shurmur said was a concussion. Massaquoi later refuted the injury on Twitter, drawing the ire of Shurmer, who went on to describe his disdain for social media. The ball was left in MoMass’ court — and he served it back with force. Speaking to reporters Tuesday, the 25-year-old wideout joked he needs to get the “older” Shurmur his own Twitter account. “Tweeting is a new-age thing,” Massaquoi said, via Cleveland.com. “Pat’s a little older, so he doesn’t really understand it. But we’re gonna keep certain things in house as far as Twitter goes. We’re not gonna give any game plans or anything like that or give too many updates which may hinder something that we’re trying to do. “But Twitter’s fun. Hopefully. I can get Pat to get [an account].” Turning more serious,

Never forget Josh Cribbs’ difficult NFL path

Admittedly, Josh Cribbs has been a bit schizophrenic in public lately. Last year he talked about needing to get back to his special teams roots. Since then it’s been a bit frantic trying to figure out whether Josh Cribbs wants to play receiver or if the team wants him to play there either. All the while, Josh Cribbs seemed to be saying that he might just speak up later this year...

Weeden: My Mistakes are Fixable

The mistakes I made were so small that they’re easy fixes. I work on them every day after practice now. The one, the fumble, when I was trying to dump it down to Jordan [Cameron], regardless of if it was or fumble or if it wasn’t a fumble, I’ve got to get that ball out quicker just knowing where we were on the field, knowing how good Phil [Dawson] is. That’s three points...

Cleveland Browns Face Different Struggles In 2012 Training Camp

After one preseason game, the Browns now know what kinds of things they need to work on as the regular season approaches. What they also now know is, some things may be out of their control to work on. Take, for instance, the curious case of Mohammad Massoquoi. Massoquoi took one hit in last Friday’s game, and promptly was removed from the game for precautionary reasons related...

Steelers Fan Kurt Takes NFL Tramp Stamping To Next Level

Smell the air. Tilt your head back, stick your nose in the air & sniff. Take a deep breath. It’s that beautiful smell of Week 2 of the NFL preseason. Tonight’s games: Cincinnati at Atlanta, 8 p.m.; Cleveland at Green Bay, 8 p.m. Bud Shaw, of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, is already trying to tell Browns’ fans that Brandon Weeden might not be their savior. Ouch. Remember,...

Cleveland Browns 2012: It's Going to be a Rough Season!

The Cleveland Browns football team has not had a great road since inducted back into the National Football League after a three year hiatus leading up to 1999. With a lackluster 54 wins since the team posted back in Cleveland, there is much to be desired for the franchise. Obviously, stats lead us to know that there is no reason to revisit what Cleveland has not accomplished in...
